Incredibly nice and helpful staff. I went there to get a bracelet repaired and the lovely owner told me they don’t offer threading service. Yet, she showed me what I needed and how to repair the bracelet. Since I only needed a tiny bit of the thread, she kindly gave me a sample instead of buying meters of it. Such a lovely gesture. Also, they look like they have a great amount of supply of beads and else.

I had the most fun and informative afternoon at one of the Bead Shed's beading classes. Marie, my lovely tutor for the day, was both knowledgeable and very patient while I wrangled my tools for the first time! I felt like I picked up the skills (and theory!) really well and came away with some finished pieces that surprised me! Highly recommend Marie and their team, it was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back to expand on my beading skills. Their bauble selection is also fantastic!

When at Carrara Markets and owned by Brad's Mother, the quality was amazing especially the gold plated findings, that stock is still shinning today but the stock went down hill and tarnished very quickly, I still have stock that has tarnished and still in the bags I purchased it in, so sad, I can't continue with that line of earrings as the quality is terrible.

Lovely business with plenty of stock to choose from. A full wall of gemstone strands, lots of findings and everything you could want if you're a hobbyist or a small business in search of something special. Staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with also. Letting me know that I could get a discount for my business from them, have to love saving money when it comes to running a small business. I'll be back next trip down, from Cairns.
