Based on numerous problems that our mother has been having there, I will not recommend this place. There are a lot of better retirement homes in lower mainland. We will take her somewhere else asap.
Avoid! They have both private and funded assisted living. Beware that if you are in need of their funded assisted living, the units are studios and extremely small. What I mean by small is that if you bring a twin bed inside the suite, you will not even have room left for a cabinet or a chair. There are no mini kitchens in the rooms which means this better suited for people who have problems with memory and it would be unsafe for them to be in a room with a kitchen. Just okay.
An incredibly caring community! Staff treat our mom with respect, mindful care and with loving hands that we can no longer provide ourselves. Our family is confident that our mom is well cared for and safe, giving us peace of mind at this stage of her life. So we can be kids, and not care attendants ourselves. Thank you Augustine House.
Beautiful seniors home, clean and cozy. Everybody is very friendly. The outside is well maintained and landscaped. The rooms are just right, we have a single studio with a very spacious bathroom with sitting shower with all the bars and support you need. The bed has controls for reclining. Small fridge and sink included with microwave. Access to balcony is available perfect for letting the cool clean breeze in.
