Had a pleasant stop over . Enjoyed a very nice meal in the evening. Lovely staff and a great breakfast to set me up for the day.
Went to the Noel diamond tribute last night - it included a meal - the show and the food were excellent. Everything was served promptly and the waiting staff were brilliant. We stayed overnight which was lovely - a brilliant night out
A classic, elegant, and tranquil typical English old-style hotel in the meadows. Wonderful decors and breakfast (better than most restaurants), also perfect view from the windows. Service was really classy and friendly, the whole package came to me as a serendipity -- didn't expect to find this hidden gem in the middle of Basingstoke!
Typisch englisches Hotel wie man es sich erwartet. Rein optisch zumindest. Leider sind die Zimmer nicht auf heutigen Stand renoviert und die gesamte Sauberkeit lässt noch Verbesserungspotential offen. (Etliche Spinnweben im Speisesaal, Teppiche haben viele Flecken im ganzen Haus, Geruch auch sehr penetrant. Fenster und Fensterbänke nicht gewischt.) war nun das zweite mal (beruflich) dort und muss sagen dass es letztes Jahr, 2023, sogar noch “besser” war.
