My Grammy has lived in this building for nearly 15 years and due to some decline, will be going to the next phase of assistance living but it’s important to note she has seen it all. The bad and the good. From a family perspective it’s nice knowing that anyone who lives in independent housing has that option to be taken care of during the next phase.In my grammys words, this last year in particular has been the best of her many years and we are all so grateful to all the staff. A wonderful place and community. A friend of ours just moved in recently and the staff took her through step by step,provided a lot of information and addressed worries she had about moving into “facility” living. On moving day she was given welcoming flowers, a bottle of wine, some merchandise and the other residents greeted her and were warm and lovely. Recently they had a tea party and I must say they go all out on their parties. Highly recommend for anyone whose parents are needing to transition to this faze of living. B... read more

My mother bought her place here in 2023. Staff was kind and helpful until we had an experience with a housekeeping member who complained about having to clean a plugged toilet, even though we offered to do it. This happened twice because the plumbing often backs up. My mother has poor mobility due to a surgery and upon bringing her some of the lovely baked goods they have available in the beautiful front room, I was insulted and told it doesn't matter if she can't come down and get them I can't bring them up to her. Well the Auburn - is a wonderful living accommodation for you or your loved ones - Wow where do I start - The staff are top notch, friendly, kind , hospitable,! The housekeeper and maintenance team keep everything looking so clean and fresh - it’s a beautiful building - and the food and recreation - well lots of delicious menu items and lots to do from what I have seen on their recreation calander when I have gone in - wow!
