The star rating should be reserved for products. Service recipients have all kinds of issues with all kinds of things. Many of those issues can not be solved by the Attorney General's office. Suffice it to say that the AG protects our great state and the position is a "labor of love". It is kind of a "no thanks" job. I thank the good men and women who are willing to serve this state in these various positions.
Recently the Attorney General joined a lawsuit against several large landlords and a real estate software company alleging the use of an algorithm to illegally raise rent prices, which led me to believe the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office handled unfair or deceptive trade practices related complaints, such as unfair contract terms related to renting an apartment.
