I made the mistake of not hiring an attorney when my pathetic ex husband filed for child support modification. I’ve stopped receiving payments since Dec 2024 and just now hired an attorney to move all of the jurisdiction to Texas. My son’s dad is living in Colorado. Very helpful and the lady is very polite
If I could leave zero stars I would. Don’t bother trying to contact anyone in this office because it won’t work. Ever. Also do not count on this office entering any kind of orders, or helping you in any way at all, it will not happen. Had court August 4th, other party was served November 4th. Judge signed orders on December 12th and still nothing. Not to mention they have failed to stop payments to Medicaid since 3/1/25, all while I’m paying for medical insurance on my own, as my children are not covered on Medicaid. 16 phon... read more
Child support order was active as of June 1, 2025. We have not received a penny from the “mother”. Have been to this office approximately 10 times with different excuses each time. July and August was supposedly an issue with their systems being updated. With the exception of one time, it’s always a receptionist that you talk to. No one of merit. Can’t call the local office no matter what i try it takes me to the main hotline and someone that doesn’t speak English good always answers after over thirty mins of waiting. They suspend my drivers license because of back child support while I was incarcerated. Now it’s impossible to get a job anywhere because I live in a small town and have to drive at least 30 miles to get work.
