They illegally throttle your internet speed irregardless of your plan. You can pay for the most expensive “unlimited” data plan and your speeds will be throttled during peak usage hours. Doesn’t matter what you do, you can try extenders and it’ll work for a few weeks before they start throttling again. AT&T’s contractor Superior Construction Management came out to our neighborhood (Cheyenne Ridge in Edmond, OK) to install AT&T’s fiber optic cable. I was actually pleased to hear they were putting in fiber as we had their service in our previous home. Superior Construction Management’s boring machine was parked in our yard without permission for over a week! Then they hit the Water Main in August 2024. My nightmare with AT&T is a long story. In December of 2023, I was about to open my business. I called AT&T to set up fiber internet and phone. They promised me it could be done by our opening in February. Less than a month before opening, they tell me they actually can’t get our internet until two weeks after our open date, meaning we wouldn’t have a phone or internet.
