I genuinely believe they are overwhelmed with the merger, and their way of dealing with not being able to handle things is to direct you to a voicemail, the service is not the same that it was.
Stay away. Helpful until the bill is paid. Once it’s paid they don’t respond to calls regarding issues with tax returns they prepared.
These guys are clowns If I could give them negative stars I would. Mike Bawol has been doing my taxes for over 25 years now. I just called, 12-Feb-2025, to make my tax appt this year and they said Mike retired a couple weeks ago. When my brother called for his tax appt, they told him Mike was released a couple weeks ago. Mike would never wait until the beginning of tax season to retire. What a joke - he was forced out, obviously. Such a shame. I have used their service for a few years but in the last two years I found they made mistakes etc. This year (2022 taxes) they forgot to encrypt my document and emailed them to me. Their head office (in Plymouth) has a useless HR and IT person that cannot provide a response on why it was done. The service has become really bad and will likely cause you to lose your identity. Stay away from this place. I will file a complainant with the State or just sue them! BE CAREFUL OF THIS SERVICE!!!
