My wife is the Power of Attorney for her brother who is and has been a resident of Stevens Point Health Services for the past 2+ years due to a stroke which requires considerable care. As I write this review we have been very thankful for the nursing care, the therapy he’s received, and the attention & concern for his well being from all of the SPHS staff. My mom has been in this nursing home for about 6 months. The clinical staff have been very caring, very good at communicating with me regarding her cares and just overall great. The administrative staff has been more than wonderful and helpful with paperwork.
I wish there was an option for zero stars. If you value your loved one, please advocate for a safer facility. This establishment basically dehydrated and starved my father to death. They are short staffed, trick people into signing documents without being able to read them or discussing with their family members. When confronted with their negligence and fraud they chose to just not return phone calls or emails unless you just show up.
