RecommendedYes. They are short staffed. Yes they may not come running the minute you press the button and yes the physical therapy staff seems more on top of their patients then the nurses. Until today, it was my 50th bday. My moms nurse Josephine told me it was ok to bring mom to glass door (Coronavirus) and have her sing happy bday to me. They all sung to me too. Facility is short staffed and it affects the well being of patients. They are not showered at changed frequently enough and the administration is hard to reach. This type of failure starts at the top. Major problems need to be addressed here. Do not place someone you love in this facility
I’m gonna say that it has a wonderful therapy program and they are attentive at all times in the Therapy department and the nurses/ technicians are great as well. I love ❤️ thier loving attitude and understanding to each patients needs. I had a wonderful experience and a speedy recovery towards home.
My father who was diagnosed with cancer, then the following month ended up in the emergency room with abdominal sepsis. He was in ICU for almost 2 months and finally made it to rehab with an ileostomy bag and feeding tube and should have been on isolation. From the start the experience at Atrium was not pleasant. There therapist are wonderful but they have the worst activities director I have ever seen she sucks and should not be there they let the best go and would not go back
