The Atrium of Allentown is such a special place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how welcoming and caring the environment is. The staff are genuinely kind and go out of their way to make sure residents feel at home and well cared for. The building is clean, cozy, and always full of life with activities and events. You can tell everyone here really takes pride in what they do. I’m so glad to be connected to a community that truly puts people first.
I worked at this nursing home for 6 months, and it was one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had. The management here is completely incompetent and careless. They only care about making themselves look good on paper while residents and staff are left to suffer. The building is filthy most of the time. We were constantly short-staffed, call bells would go unanswered for 20-30 minutes or more, and residents didn’t get basic care like baths, toileting, or help eating because there simply weren’t enough people working. Shared a delicious, well planned & prepared 5 course meal with my mother and sisters for Mother's Day! I would like to thank the Staff members who planned, cooked and served us to make it a special Mother's day!
My family and I are so grateful for the level of care our mother receives here. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. They treat residents like family, and that means everything to us. The facility is always clean, the food is nutritious, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged and happy. Knowing our mom is safe, well cared for, and surrounded by warmth gives us real peace of mind.
The Mother’s Day event today was fantastic. Kudos to the hard working staff for making the residents and their families feel very special. We had lobster cones, salad, steak or shrimp and crème brûlée! Along with some delicious sangria. Great job to all those who helped put it together.
