This small local co-op feed and seed was bought last September by David The Good and his family, and re-envisioned as a true local gem focusing not only on the old standard products, but “new” “in-house” products such as specialty grafted fruit trees for the local climate, and native plants. A few specifics that stood out to me are a whole section of seeds from Renee’s Seeds, a small, specialty seed company, as well as native pawpaw trees that were grown on site. A small group of us master gardeners from pensecola florida just visited for a small lesson in Easy Gardening by David. We had a great time visiting his shop and learning more about what grows here. The shop has a great vibe with stuff tucked here and there that you didnt know you needed lol. The plants offered outside was bountiful with things clearly marked and someone seems available to answer any questions. Thanks for having us! We loved our time there!
Great local resource for friendly knowledgeable service and materials! David has extensive experience dealing with the sandy soil we have in lower Alabama and also has an excellent YouTube channel "David the Good" for just about everything you need to know about home gardening.
