My mother went to Athletico in Okemos for several weeks over the last year and had such a great experience with Steve. She received caring and personalized treatment there. Kiersten in the office was also extremely helpful in scheduling her. I live out of the country but I manage my mom's care. Steve and Kiersten were both a joy to work with in keeping me abreast of her progress and any issues. Would highly recommend this practice for the expertise, professionalism, and heartfelt care.
My doctor told me of this place and I am glad he did. Steve is very knowledgeable and gave me a list of exercises to do at home as well, and I will continue to do them to keep improving. My progress is improving every day and I highly recommend Athletics of Okemos. If you are looking for a great physical therapy location, this one is the best by far. I have been to a few around this area, but no one provides better service than Athletico in Okemos. Dr. Steve Chmielewski quickly understood how important it was for me to get back to lifting and feeling good as I went about my daily activities. He also took an educational approach where he informed me on his current theory of what was causing pain in through out my movement patterns and implemented a test and re-test methodology.
