I originally wrote a review in February 2024 after my mother stayed here short term (actually it's the associated "Restore Therapy Pavillion at Athens Rehab" next door).. My mother is back here in May of 2025 and I wanted to add some stars and update my impressions. I had a mildly negative impression from her first visit for short term rehab .. but faced with choosing short term rehab again in 2025, we came back to Athens due to proximity to our house. I have worked with Athens Health and rehabilitation center for about 10 years now, 7 years on total and 3 years on rehab, this place has always been a 2nd home away from home❤️it’s so rewarding to rehabilitate and see our residents have a thrive for life when they get to go home!! Not everyday is perfect we have our short staff days just like everyone else but I promise that at the end of the day we love ALL our residents to the fullest and there is nothing we would not do for them!
