Apparently THIS PRACTICE IS NOW CLOSED. So this review is mainly for anyone who has ever been a patient at this practice. I previously left a review regarding the poor communication within the office staff and a billing issue that lasted for MONTHS however this review is new after a phone call I had with the office assistant today. Edit to update that the billing issue was apparently a mistaken text sent out to all clients that we all had a balance being sent to collections… I stand by much of what I say, because at most practices if you got a text like this you’d be like oh gosh this must be a mistake because surely the billing problem you emailed about 5x would have been resolved (and maybe they’d even alert you that it had been resolved!). Never been here. Have never received a bill from this practice. Received a voicemail from this business’s number saying I would be sent to collections if I didn’t pay my balance by a specific date. I have not been able to reach anyone via phone and now the calls aren’t going through at all. Very sketchy. Tried to file a complaint with BBB but they aren’t registered.
I have been hesitant to leave this review but feel that others need to be aware of the neglect you will experience if you come to Athena Health. I had my first appointment with Dr.Anderson and left feeling heard, supported, and like she was going to help me find a solution to my health concerns. After my appointment I was told my lab results would be released in 2-5 days and prescriptions would be sent immediately to my pharmacy.
