Bought a Samsonite hard travel golf case. After 7 years the rubber on the wheels is breaking off (normal wear and tear). Called Samsonite to see about getting the wheels replaced. They gave me Athalon's number to speak with them to get replacement wheels. I call customer service and they tell me sorry, we don't have wheels for that case anymore. Was unable to find it.
Athalon used to be premium luggage, that you can trust. Apparently, no more. I bought a ski bag which made it through 4 flights. It failed in multiple places on the fifth. Not a company I would trust with $1000 skis.
Very disappointed in their customer service. They emailed me back rather quickly but then just disappeared. I have a simple part I need yet I can't get ahold of anyone now. Buy from a different company. I'm sure others will value and care about their customers better than Athalon does. Super bummed out customer.
Working with Taryn Rodney at Athalon Sportgear was a breathe of fresh air. After having a broken golf carrying case for a year, Taryn provided phenomenal customer service FedExing me a free replacement wheel. It was a perfect fit and I am ecstatic that my case is functional again. Thank you for the excellent service!
