Ordered a medical ride through Modivcare with my Humana insurance several days prior to my surg appt in Miami and was assigned to ATC. I was scheduled for pickup in the morning, but after 10min of waiting past pickup time, I called them and was told “I need to call my insurance & find another ride share that’s covered because they don’t take Humana and can’t approve my ride today.” If y’all knew this, then why didn’t y'all reach out to tell me this? I was told just to call an hour before my pick up. My surgery clinic would not allow me to leave without a pick-up person. I got out of surgery a little later then expected and when I called all I was told was that they did t have anyone for me. I’m not sure why that would not be mentioned before hand that at a certain time they would stop doing pick ups. I am leaving this review for this company on a negative and dissatisfied state the operator and dispatchers lie frequently on the whereabouts of their drivers and the ETA of the drivers to specific locations. My mother has been left out to wait numerous times an hour plus after her pick up times and moreover they arrive early, causing us to rush in the AM. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I HAVE BEEN LEFT STRANDED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS THEY PLAY GAMES IN THE COMPUTER WITH YOUR PICK UP TIME YOU PUT A CERTAIN TIME AND WHEN U LOOK AGAIN THE TIME HAS BEEN CHANGED I NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM UNTIL USING THIS COMPANY JUST IMAGINE BEING STRANDED AT 4AM IN THE MORNING WITH NO RIDE AND YOUR APPOINTMENT IS AT 5AM NOT I HAVE TO CALL AROUND FOR TRANSPORTATION PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE!!!
