Worst bank ever. I’m honestly really upset with how ATB handled our situation. I was contacted by someone using an ATB phone number — it showed up exactly as the bank, which made me believe it was legitimate. There were no obvious warning signs, and I trusted the call because it appeared to be directly from ATB. Extremely disappointed with ATB Financial. We experienced a fraud situation where a scammer spoofed an ATB phone number and contacted us. The call showed up exactly as ATB, which is why it was trusted — any normal client would have done the same. After their “investigation,” ATB came back and said this was a “client-side compromise” and refused to take any responsibility.
