Staff today was unprofessional, unfriendly and unknowledgeable. Brought in some coin to deposit, was turned away away on acceptance of US coins, asked about alternate options and was advised I'd have to travel to the USA to make any use of my US coin, (about $45.00) this simply isn't true, there are banks such as RBC, that will accept US coin at Canadian face value as well as other options out there. The ATB Financial in Forest Lawn Calgary, assisted me in being able to send an international wire transfer. Specifically Rhoda Geralde she was able to teach me a few things in the website operation. And what information was needed to send the transfers without loss of funds. She did a fantastic job in assisting me, and I would recommend her to anyone needing that type of assistance.
I have been going to this particular branch since I first opened a bank account. I would highly recommend meeting with Shubhanmeet if you have any doubts in your financial knowledge. She was incredibly patient and non judgmental, and did a great job meeting me at my knowledge level.
