Took my Dell laptop in for repair of charging port. Tech looked it up and determined port was easily replaceable. Paid $70 up front for evaluation, being assured cost would be applied to actual repair. Was told new port was needed and authorized part and labor to install. When time came to pick up repaired laptop, total bill was just over $200. Receipt did not include cost of parts/labor charge. Just what my total cost was.
