Our dear uncle Brian was looked after so well at Astral Lodge, they made his last years of his life very comfortable. They also involved our family in all decisions of his care. Brian always seemed happy when we visited and always looked clean and well cared for. We will be forever greatful to Jayne and her team for all they have done for both Uncle Brian and our family
My Mum has been in Astral Lodge Care Home for 5 years, she has always been looked after well and likes it there. The staff are pleasant and friendly also have entertainment which she enjoys

My dad was there for 9 months, I don’t feel he was looked after particularly well, he lost around 4/5 stone in weight and really went downhill. Moved him to a home that could look after him with a nurse and gp on site. The doctor surgery that the home is connected to, in my opinion didn’t do anything to help dad with his pain management. If I had the chance again I wouldn’t put my dad there.
