This bank “lost” a substantial deposit in my name, last year, which had been issued directly from the IRS. Their clerical error resulted in a an overdraft charge. Cody, the manager, was unable to locate the deposit, which the IRS confirmed was received by Astra. He did waive the overdraft fee that resulted from the bank’s mistake, and closed my account.
