I recently opened a new checking account with Associated Bank and made my initial deposit of $25 using my debit card. I set up online banking successfully and was able to see my account balance without any issues. After a couple of weeks, I deposited a check through online banking in order to transfer funds from my Chase account to my Associated Bank account. The funds were debited from my Chase account. The staff Scott Johnson is very poor at his skills. He had to ask his coworkers for every problem we met in the process of setting up my account. The information he gave me is also incorrect. I had to dial the bank hotline to learn what the rules indeed is. The real fact is different from what Scott told me. I think he doesn’t know the bank service at all
