I had a checking account and savings account with Associated for 18 months and I trusted them a lot to help me financially and give me financial advice. Of course, like many banks, they failed. I reported fraud on my account and they never refunded the money back into my checking account. Eventually they took 6 weeks worth of paychecks from me. Should be zero stars. This bank supposedly services Michigan, but after applying online, they insisted I come in-person to apply, even though I've already had an online account here before -- and they have ZERO branches in Michigan. I'm supposed to travel hundreds of miles just to open an account with your bank?? Get real.
