Recently, a deal was struck with Summit Credit union to purchase the Associated Bank branch in Monroe, WI. Instead of giving customers a choice as to whether they wanted to switch to Summit credit union, customers accounts were transferred without their permission. Briefly had an account years ago. Constant headache. I've been using banks for 20 years and they were the only one I wasn't satisfied with. The customer service lady even said to me "we're like the worst bank"
Terrible communication and customer service when my account got hacked! Both parties literally stood in front of an associate and I was denied the $ back into my account!
They put my account balance on receipts for people who aren't me when they deposit funds into my account... they shouldn't put a balance on it if im not the one putting the money in...
