Please be aware that counter service at this branch (and others) is now brutally slow no matter the time of day. Several tellers are on duty but about half are struggling to understand and process even basic transactions, which is truly alarming in a financial setting. Recently, the teller struggled for several minutes to find my name in the database and to then deposit an MPI cheque. As a longtime member, this was puzzling to me. I simply cannot tolerate ACU's service anymore. Their competence is like that of an elementary school student; they make mistakes in basic arithmetic, and not just once. Their service attitude is comparable to that of a state-owned enterprise employee—arrogant and dismissive. I would rather pay $10 to close my account than stay another day.
My experience with this place was really disappointing and jarring as new mom. It was my first time visiting this location and I was surprised at the lack of costumer service. My infant son had a blowout whereupon I was made to feel guilty for asking to use the staff bathroom. I was offered a meeting room to change him but during this process I was rushed and then shamed for having a dirty diaper. Switched my mortgage to ACU because of a promo. It was a long, complicated, delayed process. I never got the promised promo and now I'm stuck with a very mediocre credit union with a barely functional app, and a credit card that was part of the promo. Tellers are polite. Never have problems with the staff. Service at this A.C.U. branch (Sterling Lyon at Kenaston) is almost always slow because there are rarely enough tellers on duty! Management needs to make improvements!
