They collect Tax for MUD #188 in Texas and every year they say they never received the check. So there is a fine and then you have to pay it online and there is a fee to pay it online. You call them and they are so nice and give you their email, except you get no reply to your email and then you call again and that person is not working that day and you have to start over with a new person. I dont know how to protest this money grubbing behaviour that is clearly a scam they are running.
SCAM BEWARE. They don't tell you about the $35 convenience fee until when you're making a payment. SCAM BEWARE!
