The elevators are constantly broke/down. And with having elderly people living there with walkers or canes they need to be able to get where they are going. Are the elevators not checked regularly? Places like this they need to be working properly. I understand the food is terrible. Along with the Director/Manager there has an attitude with the residents. Aspire is a hidden gem in the Richmond area. My mom has really acclimated there, has met many residents she enjoys doing things with, and the activities offered are wonderful. The management is amazing, they pitch in to help if there is a short staffing issue, they communicate with the family if there are any issues or problems and they are easy to access if I need to speak with them. So pleased to have chosen Aspire at West End for my home. Love my apartment, the staff, and all the activities offered to residents. The location is perfect for near by shopping and other places to explore. As an Independent Senior Living choice, I can live my daily life as I chose in a safe secure environment.

My mother in law lives at Aspire currently. She had resided here during an earlier period. However, she elected to move to an apartment to save money. Within a year's time, she realized that the value Aspire offers is well worth the expense and moved back. Her entire family concurs with her decision.
