Rachel and the team were so welcoming and made my daughter and her friends volunteer experience really special for both the residents and our youth group. It was clear how much joy the visit brought to everyone. We really appreciate the opportunity and would be happy to volunteer again.
What is the help you give us do you have nurses on duty at all time
My experience at RedOak Retirement Residence has been extremely negative. Management neglects employee paperwork, shifts responsibilities to subordinates, and prioritizes profit over resident well-being. They even encouraged me to buy company stocks under the guise of financial gain. If an incredibly unhealthy nurse-patient ratio is your idea of good care, then come on down to RedOak, a place where I’ve witnessed staff deciding it’s better for the patient to let them soil their underwear than bring them to the bathroom. Great sales job but they did not take care of my mother. It was during COVID when we could not get in to see her. The 2 times we saw her we had to take her to the hospital to be treated for congestive heart failure. They failed to notice my mother had gained 20 lbs of fluid and was unable to put her shoes on or button her pants. No one noticed because no one was checking on my mother who was in assisted living.
