Staffing is an issue. Not able to retain. More like a long term care facility than retirement
All staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great. Very clean are safe environment for both staff and residents.
We are grateful to all of the staff at Island View R. R. for how carefully, kindly and expertly they handled a fall that my Mother had recently. Thank you to all staff too for making it a warm, clean, lively and fun place for her to come home to.. She loves the people and the food.

My father has been a resident of Island View for a couple of years. Although it wasn't an easy time for him, the staff made him very welcome. His mind is at ease in terms of safety as the staff are very attentive and ensure he is at every meal. The food selection and quality have changed since he arrived; not always to his liking. But, he says he never leaves the dining area hungry. Staff will always find something to satisfy. Overall, both he and I are happy with the staff and amenities at Island View.
