I went to Island Park for respite as a result of an accident. I was there for over 3 months, mostly in a wheelchair. Loved it here. There was lots to do if you want to do it - card games, movies, excursions, crafts, exercise classes, etc. The staff are awesome, always helpful and smiling. Met so many nice residents! Made my experience more enjoyable.

We live in a retirement residence in Campbellford where when we first arrived the living was excellent. We live in a one bedroom apartment on the main floor. We have a small dog who is very quiet and never causes any problems. We are very happy with the apartment and the staff that work here. Very clean lots of activities as well as educational courses. Very nice staff clean nice folks great view
My father stayed at Island Park and loved every minute of it. The place was always very clean, the people were amazingly friendly and he loved having conversations with them. The food was great (he gained weight!). And when we would walk around the residence, he would just love how clean and lovely the area is. He would marvel at the boats on the water of the Trent canal and the idyllic Campbellford location. Great location and great people.
