My sister Lorraine resided in the Alzheimer's section for 3 years. The staff were absolutely amazing. When my sister was in palliative care, they accommodated my niece and I for a week, with a bed. Drinks, snacks and meals. They would come in every 3 hours change and reposition my sister so she wouldn't get bed sores. They all had sweet nicknames for her.. I recently spent two weeks respite care at Cedarvale Lodge Keswick post knee replacement surgery. I was given a tour by Tanya and given the options available to me. From the beginning to the end of my stay the staff called be by my name and offered words of encouragement. My stay totally nourished my body mind and soul.
