To be clear, Bolton Mills is an independent living community, not an assisted living facility. Unfortunately, we were told it was an "age in place" residence that could support my father's advancing dementia and declining mobility until the end of his life. I was completely transparent about his needs before he moved in. He required total assistance with daily living, and we agreed to pay for every additional service they recommended. I recently stayed at the Bolton Mills retirement residence for a one month respite to recover and rehab from hip surgery. I found the staff to be very attentive and personable. Accommodations suited my needs and requirements.
