My 95-year-old mother moved into assisted living at Aspira Bearbrook about a year ago. She had lived in two seniors' homes in Toronto before this so we had something to compare to. I’m still here because I need subacute assistance, I eat halal and they gave me soup with pork, and the 2nd picture is breakfast which is an egg and a banana. No toast, no salt no pepper. I ordered halal, and every meal is an egg- they don’t provide any variety. And the facilities does not have a proper size walker and have ordered me crutches because they do not have my size.
