Excellent, caring staff. My 95 year old Mom just moved in from another Retirement Residence but loves the care and attention she gets from all the staff. Food is excellent as well - Lovely place
I’m super appreciative of the excellent care and attention all the staff provide to myself and my mother. She enjoy the meals cooked by their wonderful chef (including the serving staff), activities (inside and outside the residence) and entertainment that are provided. I have also enjoyed sharing meals with her and appreciate the helpful and informative communications with the staff.
My 95-year-old mother moved into assisted living at Aspira Bearbrook about a year ago. She had lived in two seniors' homes in Toronto before this so we had something to compare to. Aspira is vastly superior to anything we’ve experienced before. We’ve learned that the most important aspect of a seniors' home, particularly for those in assisted-living, is the attention they get from staff. Aspira really performs well on this count. I’m still here because I need subacute assistance, I eat halal and they gave me soup with pork, and the 2nd picture is breakfast which is an egg and a banana. No toast, no salt no pepper. I ordered halal, and every meal is an egg- they don’t provide any variety. And the facilities does not have a proper size walker and have ordered me crutches because they do not have my size.
