Nurses are so poorly understaffed to the point that they are helping the cooks in the kitchen prepare meals. It's starting to show in the quality of care as the stresses make once good nurses care even less about their job or the work they are doing. How or why they become nurses if they are just going to be miserable and short tempered is beyond me, you're in the wrong field of employment. What life, the U of A and a remote brain injury rehab centre could not achieve in over a year, this place managed in a day. I'd say 0 stars but l cannot. Congratulations.

Aspen House is a beautiful place to work the Manager Marie Neiman is so professional and easy to communicate with. So is Bev she handles all the scheduling very nice thumbs up.

I could write a book on this but only have so much room. First of all not impressed that AHS support staff were shown the door & lower paid staff brought in when private company Chartwell took over. Nursing staff are still AHS employees and most are good. Made many complaints about items missing from my mother's room which all fell on deaf ears. All of the clothing items that walked away were brand new, so it's hard to believe it was other "confused" patients taking things, although that was usually who the staff blamed. One... read more
