Our loved one was placed here prior to the name change. While the facility appeared to be clean and staff were friendly enough, this establishment is best suited for senior citizens who are still pretty independent. Their patient to nurse ratio was quite lopsided during our experience with the facility, which left our family member quite vulnerable under their watch. We have done a lot of work for assisted living communities in several states. At each facility, it's easy to see the degree of quality of care and respect the staff provides. Unfortunately, many facilities fall short. Aspen Creek Kenai is great to work with and clearly provides quality care. The quality of care and sincerity are generally set by how the Administrators treat the staff and residents. Rene, the regional director, is excellent. She is so great to work with. This is a bad place to put a loved one or anyone. Both my parents lived there at different times they treated them like they didn't matter, never clean the dishes out of the room nor did the clean the rooms my dad went weeks without a shower till our family went in and showered him, they also would take him outside and would leave him there for long periods of time in the cold.
