This is not a referral from a client but from a fellow lawyer. Ferne Ashford is an outstanding member of the local legal community and I consider her to be the one of the most skilled lawyers in the Fredericton area when it comes to drafting pleadings for filing in court. She is always reasonable to deal with on the other side of a file and is fantastic at minimizing conflict on family law files.
We got a recent law school grad who made unilateral decisions without consultation, forgot to send paperwork, forgot explicit contact instructions twice. Did come in under retainer costs though. Took 10 months to accomplish what could have been achieve in four. Not very impressed.
