The worst got worse. We travel through the Asheville Airport (AVL) frequently. Asheville must be the center of terrorist activity because the TSA people there are like Nazi's. They make the otherwise nice, quaint airport a nightmare for travelers. Rude, incompetent, ignorant. If flying out isn't bad enough, after the plane lands in Asheville, you sit on the plane for over 30 minutes because they don't have a gate open to park the plane and let you off.
