My 3 year old has received both speech and occupational therapy from this office for roughly a year. My child’s daycare recommended services and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t skeptical about my child needing speech and occupational therapy. With this being said, the support and kindness we have both received from the staff is overwhelming. They really care for my child and his progress and growth. Went here for inner ear, and my expectations were very low. I wasn’t there fifteen minutes total. The therapist knew exactly what to do. I had been suffering with car sickness for two or three years, dizziness every morning getting out of bed. Since going here for treatment, I haven’t had any dizziness, and am finally able to ride to Sparta, or down the mountain without wanting to throw up. I definitely recommend the inner ear therapy to anyone suffering these symptoms!!!
The physical therapy department of Ashe Memorial Hospital is absolutely outstanding. I was referred to the hospital for aquatic physical therapy after a year and a half with another office. I worked with Bill Coggin twice a week in the Mountain Hearts pool. Where the other office had gotten me back on my feet, Bill helped me truly walk again.
