I had a good experience. Initially I was a bit confused, because this is not a conventional brick and mortar service, but it was easy. The van was where they said it would be and it all worked great.
Had a very pleasant experience renting a car to drive to whistler, good value for money , easy to deal with and helpful. The car was nearly new and made for a reassuring trip . Thanks to the team would recommend
Absolutely the worst experience in rental cars I have ever had. The app is crap, wouldn't let us create a password or reset the password. When we called to find out where the van was at the calgary airport we were told they needed the credit card photo, so we sent the credit card photo via email. It is an ATB Mastercard, name card number it is on the back of the card. Had an amazing experience with Ascent car rental! Didn’t know until the end of my week long rental, that they are a small Canadian business (we love supporting local). A very easy, smooth experience at Calgary Airport. We picked up the car from an off site car park (free shuttles provided) and just hopped in the vehicle after a quick chat with the staff. I highly recommend Ascent Car Rental. They provide quality vehicles that are in good shape, and importantly if you’re traveling into the mountains in winter, they offer winter tires. Service was good with quick responses to queries. Prices were reasonable. I found it a bit odd at first that we needed to clean the vehicle before returning it at Calgary airport, but it was no problem to pass by a PetroCanada car wash on the way to dropping off the car. Overall a very good experience.
