My experience with Sacred Heart’s Pensacola Midwives service has been outstanding! I’ve met with Savannah and Amanda both, and they are knowledgeable, caring, and already advocate for me very well. They have me extremely comfortable and better equipped for labor and delivery, with this being my first baby. I’m super excited for the experience through them as my providers!
The nesting place rooms of the hospital are sooo nice. Nicole was an amazing support for us during all my prenatal appointments and she just so happened to be on call when I delivered my baby. Keep in mind the midwives are not at your bedside the whole labor leading up to pushing, a doula would be a great addition if that’s what you’re looking for. I was nervous at first but they welcomed me and they were very nice and sweet!
Unfortunately, once you are classified as "high risk" the midwives cannot continue to provide their services to you. So, take your chances since pregnancy can swing in any direction at any point. I was expelled at 35 weeks & now a stranger will be delivering my baby. Savannah is caring, grounded, & supportive. Nicole is a great listener, comforting, & intellectual.
