100/10 Recommend, Working with Jake on a knee issue I've had for a while where I could barely squat down after a workout was the best decision. Staying active is a huge part of my life, even with crossfit and Strongman competitions I was able to fit the strength and recovery sessions in without a problem. Jake always kept the check ins consistent and had valuable insight as well as made adjustments as needed to effectively improve.
Jake was great! He baselined where I was at at the beginning of rehabbing an injury and identified what my goals were through recovery. Every few weeks we stepped up the activities so I could stay active but safe to avoid reinjury. You can tell he's very knowlegable and really cares about heling out his clients.
Dr. Jake Salaba and his team are the best! I've been able to work through multiple injuries (shoulder, lower back, ACL repair) and get back to confidently doing the things I love thanks to their guidance. My daughters, all competitive gymnasts have seen Dr. Jake for elbow, wrist and back issues. What we love about Ascension is the thorough assessment and ultra personalized programs that focus on strengthening and movement, not restriction and fragility.
Jake at Ascension PT is AMAZING!! His whole team is. I needed a plan to restart my weight lifting life. They figured out where physically I needed to focus, but then created a program that was easly to follow, and left me feeling strong without feeling sore. He knows his stuff and, as physician, I have full confidence to refer my patients to him and his clinic.
Jake is an excellent PT. I have seen him for low back pain, knee pain, and most recently a pinched radial nerve in my arm. All have been resolved and I feel more confident in my capabilities. He is one of the most knowledgeable PTs I have ever seen and is an incredibly trustworthy provider. I tend to be a bit of a skeptic and don’t trust many providers but have never had that hesitation with Jake. I would absolutely recommend him and would go back to him for any future pains.
