Incredible labor & delivery & postpartum experience! Thought it’d be hard to beat my last care team at Ascension St Vincent with my previous daughter’s birth but WOW! This time was above and beyond. My L&D nurses Kennedy, Hannah & Kathryn were all amazing along with the best; Dr. Robrock of course & Dr. Compton for a wonderful epidural :) And postpartum when you’re at your worst and need the most help my nurses were literal angels. Just had my second baby at St. Vincent Carmel. The L&D and maternity staff were all professional, kind, and helpful. I feel like we were provided top quality care and would recommend the St. Vincent Carmel team to anyone expecting a baby.
Absolutely poor experience from the attending doctor- Dr. Profeta was horrible. Absolutely horrible experience as someone who suffers a debilitating rare chronic illness. His medical student did all the question asking, there WAS NO examination neurologically like he claims he did in his notes. My cranial nerves weren’t checked, stroke signs weren’t checked, movement wasn’t checked. Pupilary responses not checked.
