In order to get a home loan, you have to keep making appointments to speak to someone, then someone will call you, they send you an application, then you have to make an appointment to review the application, then they make another appointment for pulling credit, then they call you back to verify funds ON A PRE-APPROVAL LETTER! I've banked with them for 20 years and they need PROOF OF INCOME! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! I've heard bad things about this place, but my experiences have been pleasant with banking. Updated their ATM that still never works 🤦
The ATM machines in ALL Shelbyville locations are ALWAYS down.
Always very slow in drive thru and ATM is always down, extremely inconvenient
I thought this was the perfect bank. They pay interest on checking accounts instead of charging for them, we have online banking so you can check to see if checks have cleared and can move money between checking and savings...awesome...until they started to try to force people into paperless statements. Taking money out of our accounts each month until we comply is not cool. Deducting from accounts that have no steady activity is wrong, as well. They used to be five stars until they decided to do this.
