My dad spent six months at Asbury Care Memory Care, and from the very beginning of his journey, I knew we had made the right choice. They took such wonderful care of him and truly got to know him as a person. They knew the music he loved, his favorite foods, and the little things that made him comfortable and happy. The facility was always clean, and the staff consistently made sure he was comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Most of the CNAs are lovely, but there is a terrible communication b/w nursing staff, CNA directors and CNAs. Powders, creams my mom has needed often are not done and I have to repeatedly ask staff to correct the procedure. For example, my mom needed Ketoconazole shampoo to under her breasts and groans and some of the nursing staff directed CNAs to put this on her head just b/c it said shampoo. We moved my dad into the memory care wing of Asbury Court about a year ago and we couldn’t be more pleased with that experience and the top notch care he receives as a resident. Joanna worked closely with my family as we navigated the application process and helped to streamline the move in process.
