As we can all see from the reviews that banking with the institution itself is a mess. Funds added to or removed from account with the explanation “oops it was a mistake” and usually followed by blaming another department with a shrug and “I wish I could do something, but it’s _________ fault.” Five star review? This review isn’t about this branch but for the company. The people at the branch were very understanding of my frustration. We have banked at Arvest for over 20 years! We have multiple business accounts with them as well as a mortgage and a business loan. We went in there to get my 11 year-old daughter a bank account and the free bank accounts are no longer free! LONG time Arvest customer. Many accounts, including mortgage. Got my kiddos their first debit cards here, linked to my account, easy to manage. They're supposed to be learning now, right? My daughter's was cancelled due to 3 mos inactivity (ugh, fine print). They couldn't reactivate, told me I had to come open a brand new account. We went into our local branch to do so - then they tried to charge me a monthly fee to open the account. Worst bank in all Arkansas, these guys have a horrible banking system when your money is missing due to an error on their end they hesitate to help you and are even rude about it when its their fault not only that they keep you waiting in line while they arent even busy laughing and conversating about nonsense not caring about peoples time waiting to be helped.
