I've been an Arvest customer since before they were Arvest. This is a great location with fantastic people. They are all wonderful and willing to help out when I have some special attention. I would recommend to anyone. They are a wonderful regional bank!
TLDR: do NOT use Arvest for a mortgage- THEY LOST MY MONEY! I went through Arvest for my mortgage because of past business relationships with them, and the assurances they gave that they do NOT sell or transfer their mortgage loans. WRONG! They have decided to outsource my mortgage, only 5 years after origination, and in their brilliance decided to do this over the HOLIDAY! If I could give zero Stars I would. The absolute worst bank. I opened an account with them, took over an hour and a half. God bless Grace@this location. She's the only good thing at this Bank. I find out a week later that they closed my account but not immediately not for another month and then it'll be closed? When I called support THEY couldn't give me a reason why they're closing my account other than saying they couldn't verify activity on my account??What activity? They charge people a ridiculously high fee to cash a check drawn on an Arvest account and written by their depositor. One of many ridiculous gouging strategies they have adopted at Arvest.
