My mom has lived at the Arvada Estates for a short time but It has been the perfect move for her. The facility is well kept and cheerful. The staff and fellow residents are friendly and make it a very positive environment for her to be in. She can be as active as she wants, with the numerous activities available on a daily basis. The one downside is, the sometimes inadequate meal service. The husband and wife live in managers, Bill and Gloria were verbally harsh with the residents, and reprimanded them for using their call system. They also humiliated residents by reprimanding them in public areas. Unfortunately, since it's not licensed as assisted living, they don't fall under health department regulations, because they would have been reported by now. It's a nice looking place and the contracted help for medications and care are very nice, but the facility management tries to keep residents “in line” throug... read more
