A truly inviting community for memory care! I was rather impressed w/the offering at Artis. More importantly, Rita (exceptional) & the rest of the staff were very caring & involved in all aspects of their residents daily lives. It was a wonderful heart warming experience! Artis in Chestnut Ridge is truly a special place. You can feel the warmth, professionalism, and passion from the moment you walk in. Rita and her team go above and beyond to create a welcoming, engaging environment for residents, families, and the community. The events are thoughtful and fun, the food is incredible (Chef Jorge is a star!), and the care feels personal and genuine. They’re an absolute gem in senior living.
My mom was in a beautiful senior living in bergen county that “specialized” in dementia. Without going into great detail, looks are deceiving and she was neglected there. Our family cannot say enough positive things to express our pleasure and gratitude to Artis Senior Living Facility. When we needed to find assisted living that provided a higher level of care the search was not easy. I came here recently with my mother to visit her uncle. I was pleased with the facility. It was cozy and clean plus the staff I interacted with were nice. I really like that my uncle can move about and not feel caged in. The goal is for him to still feel independent with the help he needs around the clock. However, one of the nurses I was conversing with pointed out their Director of Health and Wellness which alarmed me.
