I really tried to give this facility the benefit of the doubt, but after visiting my grandfather again last weekend, nothing has changed. They are still relying heavily on agency nurses. I even spoke with one nurse who told me she's from Pennsylvania and works through Clipboard an app-based agency. What I don't understand is why the facility can't host an open house, offer hiring incentives, or take some other steps to bring in permanent staff. Artis Senior Living of Briarcliff is one of the nicest communities I have visited. So beautiful and well maintained. You really feel like you are visiting someone in their home. A warm and loving feeling from the time I walked in until I had to leave.

I can not say enough positive things about the environment and staff at Artis Senior Living of BriarCliff Manor. Moving my mother into this community was the best thing I have done for her, and has given me enormouse peace of mind. We found just the right place for my Mom for this difficult time of life. She was in between assisted living and a nursing home and in need of memory care.
